Our client is one of the leading Electrical Manufactuing Company experiencing rapid growth is looking for Application Engineer with the following job profile.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities including the following:

• Scrutiny of all Sales inquiries to ensure that they are within Cooper Crouse-Hinds scope of supply.

• Identify the products and quantities for the bills of material.

• Evaluate customer drawings and specifications to determine if we can comply and cost impacts of complying etc.

• Liaison with factories for inquiries that cannot be satisfied with standard catalog items and select, non-catalog or special adaptations of products to meet customer needs.

• Selecting the factories for price of component / equipment for which standard price list are not available.

• Liaison with the customer / consultant to sort out any discrepancies with regard to technical or contractual requirements.

• Obtaining approvals and arranging of all the supporting documents for bid requirements.

• Preparation of a complete and comprehensive offer, with any exceptions or special considerations clearly stated in time to meet the customer due date.

• Review of offer calculation and submittal prior to quote submission.

• Presentation of offers, follow up activity and negotiations with the customer to secure order.

• Once order is received timely preparation of instruction leaflet for customer service team for order processing.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Three to five years experience in Engineering.

• A degree in Engineering or an Associate Degree in Engineering.

• A good record of working with internal departments and external customers.

• Ideally an Engineering Degree – Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial.
