client is one of the leading Real Estate Finance &
Investment company experiencing rapid growth with huge
investment scope of work and vision.
To assist its credit control team in all administrative
tasks by performing the following duties.
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities including the following:
•
Calls or writes to credit bureaus, employers, and personal
references to check credit and personal references.
• Establishes credit limit, considering such factors
as applicant's assets, credit experience, and personal
references, based on predetermined standards.
• Keeps record or file of credit transactions,
deposits, and payments, and sends letters or confers
with customers having delinquent accounts to make payment.
• Sends form letters and brochures to solicit
business from prospective customers.
• Adjusts incorrect credit charges and grants
extensions of credit on overdue accounts.
• Keeps record of applications for loans and credit.
• Provides customer credit information or rating
on request to retail stores, credit agencies, or banks.
• Checks value of customer's collateral, such
as securities, held as security for loan.
• Processing cash receipts, preparing cheques,
bank reconciliations, query resolution as well as maintaining
the daily cash spreadsheets.
• Monitors payments received from customers against
debtors invoices issued.
• Control and report on the invoices.
• To issue monthly statements in accordance with
department policy.
• To implement company credit policy in conjunction
with the company credit reviewer.
• Assist and deputize for the credit supervisor
in the collection function.
• Monitor cash receipts and provide constructive
management information.
• Chasing corporate debt
• Handling and resolving all relevant queries
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be
able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of
the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
•
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 –
5 years experience in Credit and Administration.
• Bachelors Degree with focus on finance, accounting
and economic.
•
Computer Skills.
• Strong Communication Skills both verbal and
written.
